THE CHRISTMAS BAZAAR at St Nick's
Saturday November 5, 2011: Noon - 3pm Please take a flyer or two and post them on a bulletin board—perhaps in your Condo, or at a store, or library. Please let as many people as possible know about our Bazaar. Our very popular Bake Table can easily sell out as much of your wonderful home baking as we can get. Please consider baking something: loaves, pies, cookies, muffins, shortbread, and bread are all good sellers. We can never have too much baking!! If you have items for our Jewellery, Lavender and Lace, or Attic Treasures tables, please hold them until Sunday Oct 30th, when we will begin to set up for the Bazaar. Your donations can start to come in at that time and during the rest of that week. If you would like to help, please call Doreen Moffat at 416-691-2917. There are many jobs to be done so don’t miss the opportunity to join in the fun JAMS, JELLIES, PICKLES, RELISHES AND PRESERVES Here’s a shocking reality for you, the BAZAAR will be here before you know it!! November 5th is the date. The Bazaar Committee is hard at work planning, and they hope you are also busy preparing those wonderful handcrafted, homemade items that we are famous for. It’s time to start knitting and making one-of-a-kind crafts, jams, preserves, baking (well, don’t start the baking just yet!), and setting aside good quality used items for our Linen and Attic Treasures and Jewelry tables. Of course as usual, we’ll be asking everyone to make sandwiches or sweets for our very popular Tea Room, and soon the raffle tickets will be available for you to sell. The PICK-A-POCKET man will be back again this year. He needs items worth at least a loonie to fill his pockets. Keep in mind that most of his pockets are not large. You can bring your items to church starting Sunday, October 17th. Mark them “Pick-a-Pocket” and Pauline Green will pick them up. THE CHRISTMAS BAZAAR at St Nick's - November, 2010
