Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. It's a day of repentance, reflection and preparation, when we're reminded of our mortality and need for God's grace. Through the imposition of ashes, we acknowledge our sins and commit to a season of prayer, fasting and renewal as we journey toward Easter.

Sung Eucharist at 10 am

Our morning service includes music and hymns, along with readings from scripture, a sermon, the imposition of ashes and Communion. At the imposition of ashes, people will come forward to have their foreheads marked with an ash cross.

Spoken Eucharist at 7 pm

Our evening service is a smaller spoken service (no music) that includes readings from scripture, a sermon, the imposition of ashes and Communion.
